VEGAFLEX © - new mattress production technology

The VEGAFLEX material was created by the Vegas experts in cooperation with the company Vita Baltic. VEGAFLEX appeared as a result of careful research in order to obtain a syntactical material with the optimal relationship of elasticity, durability and termo and hydro regulation – properties that form the main functional characteristics of the orthopec mattresses. 

Structurally, VEGAFLEX is a porous (cellular) material, made of great number of small, homogeneous cells with flexible, resistant walls. Having the same size and shape these cells are deformed similarly under pressure. Regardless to its great external similarity to penouretan, VEGAFLEX can be easily distinguished from it, as its pores/cells are smaller and it has a specific light blue colour, that has become a trade mark of this unique technology. 

Elasticity

Elasticity represents the capacity of the material to trurn back to the initial state, after the action of the deforming forces is over. Elasticity in the context of mattresses means that the bed doesn't drop down and is flexibly sustains the body of the sleeping person in the proper position. The presence of VEGAFLEX in its structure gives the mattress softness and firmness at the same time. The gentle softness of the material rapidly transforms, with the load growth, into balanced elasticity and flexibility, providing additional elasticity and increasing the orthopedic effect of the spring block.

  

Air and Moisture Conductivity

Thanks to the cellular  structure, VEGAFLEX has a wonderful capacity of moisture absorption and air conductivity, is not affected by temperature gradient. On standard deformation, under the pressure of the human body (about 20-30%) the air and moisture conductivity of  VEGAFLEX decreases just insignificantly.

 

Durability

From the point of view of lifetime, VEGAFLEX is much superior to the majority of foam urethane. The material is wear resistant, slightly affected by permanent elastic deformations, that preserves the VEGAFLEX spring blocks in the initial perfect state for years. Its marvelous properties make VEGAFLEX indispensable in the orthopedic mattress production. VEGAFLEX is one of the essential elements of a high quality mattress.
